Yesterday Basil took two of his Stanley steamers to an event at the Wind Energy Museum in Repps with Bastwick, located in the wilds of East Norfolk at the end of a perilously narrow roads. Their water supply left something to be desired so being alongside a river water was taken in this traditional manner. We felt sorry for the poor people in the boat moored alongside, it had sprung a leak and there was them busy bailing out and removing their sodden clothing and bedding as we were busy sucking water out of the river causing quite a bit of interest in the process. We were visited by well known steam car enthusiast - John Saunders Bev Woolner
