FOR SALE

1921 Stanley Model 735B 7-Passenger Touring, Serial No. 21106, Engine No. 3416
Owned by the late Jeff Theobald, this Stanley was completely restored in the 1990s by retired machinist Ed LaFleur.   Mr LaFleur did a 100% ground-up restoration, including new paint, new leather interior, new plating, all instruments rebuild, a new top with matching  tonneau cover for the front and rear seat.   A true body off restoration with every nut and bolt restored.
Previous owner purchased this car about twelve years ago as it was known to be one of the most complete restorations of a condensing Stanley around.  It has logged around 12,000 miles since restoration and has been on many steam car tours.
Please see below a list of remedial work(s) that have been completed to the car in the past 10 years (approx. 2,500 miles):
New Boiler, made by Howard Johnson
New Baker Burner, made by Allen Blazick
Pumps rebuilt by John Packard
Brakes relined
New White Wall Tires.

2007 Steam Car Tour, Delaware

Current Condition:
This great example is now beginning to show signs of a twenty-plus-year-old restoration.  The paint looks great from ten feet, but does have some small cracking in places.  There are also the normal scratches and scruffs from a car that has toured 12,000 miles.  The leather interior is in good condition.  The plating is all excellent other than the lower windshield frame that has some rust in the bottom corners and the screen has cracked.
There are a few things that this car will need.  Re-commission work inc. boiler testing. She currently is not UK registered but comes with all the documentation showing the duties have been paid and includes the US title.  As mentioned above the lower windshield will need attention – the windshield frame will either need to be reworked and plated or be replaced.  The water tank is currently good, but has been patched several times and will eventually need to be replaced.
My father paid £47,000 for this lovely car shortly before his passing (receipt showing amount paid included in documentation).

Part exchange available on a vintage bike, classic car W.H.Y
£44,995 obo
