1919 Stanley 735B 7 Passenger For Sale9/21/2017 For sale is our beloved 1919 Stanley 735B 7-passenger steam touring car. We purchased it last september after it had been in storage for a few years. We have done a lot of work to this car including: a new vaporiser coil, added a whistle, new water gauage seals, and had the gas tank fully cleaned inside. It is a very interesting and rare car with a neat backstory. It has accessories such as 1919 licence plates, a bristol derr electric water gauage, a 30hp Don Bourdon boiler, blazick jets, and a packard pilot. It steams very quickly, the siphon works, it seldom gets a tube fire and the engine is smooth. Only items needed to be corrected until it can be toured: thewaer pumps need to be machined as they are worn out inside and the piston packing needs to be redone. These small fixes wil lenable it to be a reliable, rare, and facinating steam car. We have to many projects right now are would like to find this car a fellow steam enthusiast to be its new owner. This as a result of the pressure tank in The BettyAnne, our 1925 SV, having been repaired twice and now leaking through a pinhole for the third time. These tanks will be steel, with two fittings at the top and a drain fitting at the bottom. The tooling and assembly cost for such a short run are high. The retail price will be $550 each, which more or less covers the cost, but not the time.
