Replica of the 2nd of 3 cars built expressly for FE Stanley’s son, Raymond.
This vehicle was built from the original Raymond Stanley photo album with advanced computer enhancement in order to ascertain correct dimensions. 
This is the car that Jay Leno climbed Mt. Washington and may be viewed on YouTube under Jay Leno’s Garage.
 This car was built with an extremely high percentage of circa 1912 original Stanley parts acquired by me over my lifetime.  All of these parts were repaired or restored prior to installation.
 The following is a list of correct parts for a circa 1912 30HP car:
 complete steering components, front and rear axles, wheel hubs, gauges, hand valves and all fittings used to plumb the car, pedals and all pumps.
  Also equipped with modified original ‘looking’ electrical switch box, self cancelling directional indicators, alternator, compressor to pump up air, fuel, etc.

Serial No: 5600 Stanley Model 70 20hp restored extensively by Ken Foster in the late 1990's with pain staking attention to detail.
The car has been in the UK for the last 10/15 years and is now very reluctantly being offered for sale with a brand-new drilled burner, re-wired boiler (9 years left on a 10 year ticket) and current 2021 inspection. Engine rebuild 5 years ago.
A very desirable car, ready to tour!
Also included is a vintage correct fold-down windscreen which has been removed to keep the car in its original 1910 specification - easily re-attached.
This car will climb any hill before it fully loaded and equally will descend comfortably due to the addition of modern hydraulic brakes.
A true head turner and in our opinion one of Stanley's most beautiful models created!

This particular Stanley offered is in amazing condition with known history since 1931. This 1914 Model 607 touring has been used a lot for tour and has been meticulously cared. It's a Stanley steamer model 607 serial #7712, original 10HP engine from factory 6-1316. The engine was updated by Howard Johnson to correct some known weaknesses. Car has been outfitted with hydraulic brakes. This model included the first steering box, oversized 20-inch boiler, and large 40 gallon water tank filled from outside rear. Side curtains included are correctly hung from top crossbows. Sale includes rear trunk for extra storage and spare tire with storage box in centre of tire. Rolled out of the factory June 2, 1914, total production 106 and less than 15 survived. 1914 was the last of the "coffin nose" Stanley's before the transition to a more modern nose with a condenser offered later. It is also the last year before Stanley's switched to left hand drive. It is a 10 horsepower model, but a late 10 horse which has a much larger boiler giving it a lot more power then the earlier 10 horse cars. Still has the original electric control box, original body with a wonderful restoration and a binder full of pictures and documentation about the restoration and the history of that car. 
In an odd twist, legendary Stanley broker Mervin Allatt appears to have owned this car in 1936. And by no less than the American Steam Automobile Co., the business manifestation of steam designer Thomas Derr. Allatt clearly wanted this car for his own use, and went on to register it in NJ in 1937, '40, and '42. He appears to have painted it during that time, as the 1937 registration describes the car as green and the 1940 registration says blue. Today the car is perfectly restored in Black with red pinstripe.

A rare example of a 1938 Jowett Steam Car Conversion. This steam car conversion, which was offered by Bolsover Brothers as a war time solution to save on rationed petrol. This is a complete and original running chassis, compound engine and vertical boiler.

​This E.W.K Steam car was built in 1970 as an experiment in producing low emission alternatives to conventional I.C vehicles, by Kendrick and featured in numerous TV programmes including BBC's “Tomorrow’s World”.
Liquid fuelled, high pressure flash team boiler supplying a 2 cylinder compound steam engine.


The car proved very usable and fast as evidenced by existing film. Used for some years but now in need of recommissioning.
