Boiler and burner are ordered from the United States, but is not likely to get the bow at the end of the summer. Ångregulator, fuel pressure regulator, water glass, a whole bunch of valves and a lot of fittings are ordered from Goold In England, and these are also likely linger. So my ångbilsintresserade friends .... while waiting for new reports from the renovation, you may enjoy some pictures from Sven and my lovely ride for almost a year ago in the beautiful English countryside. The fuel pumps and water pumps are also on site as well as the pedal for reversing the machine and the brake pedal. Soon the gadgets picked off again and reconditioned, cleaned up and repackaged. The body underwent an extensive renovation in the late 80s, but then put the project on ice. So now we will then 25 years later to take up the restoration again, it will require a lot of research to all will be right. Next to the picture seen air pump that will keep the fuel pressure. Behind the wooden beam is visible feed water pump and a loose oil pump which, over time, the pump cylinder oil in the steam just before the machine. At the top of the picture is seen the hand pump to feed water, it is used mainly in uppeldning. |
