March 31st, 20143/31/2014 In the evening it was time ..... a first test firing. Unfortunately, it seems that the burner is not as effective as we wanted, it took longer than expected to come up to the desired pant snatch. But oh how beautiful machine range.

March 30th, 20143/30/2014 The gauge of pressure in the fuel system. We have pumped up the pressure to 20 PSI closed the main shutoff valve for the gas to the burner. Now we will see how long the system keeps the pressure. March 29th, 20143/29/2014 Gunnar Modig A little messy maybe, but now mostly be in place. The steam system is basically clear and the fuel system is complete. Now it is not far away with a first test firing, it is not without long ...... March 27th, 20143/27/2014 Mobile renovation again. A while ago, now it was time for the insulation of the boiler, the isollering we use can withstand 1600 degrees. To protect the insulation, ultimately a thin sheet. March 19th, 20143/19/2014 I have recently been in contact with a collection of enthusiasts from Nykoping (I think). Through Urban Nyblom I have received the following information which I gladly pass on -------------------- -------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- NORBERGSKA steam wagon 1838 this photo shows a model of the self-propelled steam wagon the designer Carl Gustaf Norberg built already in 1838 - about 60 years before anyone came to build self-propelled vehicles in Sweden.Probably Norberg too early with his idea, he got no financier to join and it was no more than this model (which actually are preserved at the Nordic Museum!) Why not build steam wagon 175 years later? DO YOU WANT TO JOIN? September 17th, 20163/16/2014 Mobile renovation again. This weekend, it knocked copper, new cases around the cylinders of the machine. It is important that the machine is not cooled unnecessarily, it means loss of power to cool the steam so the machine should be isolated and around this a case of copper. |
