Well, OK, you're quite correct, the star of the photo isn't exactly steam driven - however, lurking in the distance of the picture, set in the magnificent Close at Norwich Cathedral, are three Stanley steam cars - (left to right) Model 70, Model K, Model R. The 70 was being driven by James Barron with Christine Calver, Ollie and Liam as co-drivers, navigators - whatever. The model K was driven by Russell Yeomans, ably assisted by his wife Wendy. The model R appears to have been abandoned, while it's driver Basil Craske chats to someone about a Locomobile.
Oh yes, nearly forgot - the car in the front is a 1953 MG Midget TD - owned and driven by John Oliver. We had all successfully completed the 65 miles set for this year's Charles Clark Rally which is an annual event. The steam cars and the MG all behaved and performed perfectly (of course).
